Following the schematics, a circuit with a 1micro farad capacitor, 220 ohm resistors was made. A button was also included for the python3 manual.py program. This button intensified the light of the led whenever you ran the particular program and pressed the button simultaneously. This explains why a capacitor is needed.
jump wires were added to complete circuit into the raspberry pi.
